C.A.R.E.’s 70th Conference Agenda is set to take place in Tampa, Florida, from May 9 to May 11, 2023. The conference promises to be an exciting and informative event, with numerous speakers and networking opportunities. Let’s take a closer look at the agenda and some of the speakers that attendees can expect to hear from.
Day One – Tuesday, May 9
The conference begins with the Exhibitor Marketplace, which runs from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Attendees can meet vendors and learn about the latest products and services in the vacation industry.
Registration starts at 4:00 pm, followed by the First Time Attendee and New Member Orientation at 4:30 pm.
Meet the Members follows at 5:30 pm, where attendees can network and socialize with other members.
The day concludes with Welcome Cocktails, Dinner, and a Silent/Live Auction from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club, Meridian Financial Services, Inc., Resort Travel & Xchange, and Sundance Vacations, Inc sponsor the event.
Day Two – Wednesday, May 10
Day Two begins with Breakfast at 8:45 am, followed by the Exhibitor MarketPlace and General Session from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.
The Interactive Workshop, presented by Jim Madrid of Advanced Sports Technology, is sponsored by Panorama Travel Solutions. This workshop promises to be an engaging and interactive session providing attendees with valuable insights and strategies for success.
After a Networking Break, the day continues with a Panel Discussion on C.A.R.E. Vendor Best Practices 2023, moderated by Scott Fasano, President of Travel Advantage Network.
Attendees will hear from leading vendors and industry experts on the latest trends and best practices for success.
The day concludes with the C.A.R.E. Evening of Awards and Recognition at The Rusty Pelican from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Panorama Travel Solutions and Vacation Innovations sponsor this event, and complimentary beer and wine are included (two hours), with transportation provided to the event.
Day Three – Thursday, May 11
Day Three begins with the C.A.R.E. Accreditation Test at 8:30 am, followed by Breakfast at 8:45 am.
The Exhibitor MarketPlace and General Session run from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Attendees will hear from keynote speaker John Monaghan, who will provide valuable insights and strategies for success in the vacation industry.
Old Business/New Business and C.A.R.E. Elections follow, after which attendees can take a Networking Break.
A Panel Discussion on D.N.C. Compliance, Serial Litigators, etc., moderated by Bob Kobek, President of Mobius Vendor Partners, is next.
The day concludes with Closing Comments by Linda Mayhugh, C.M.P., R.R.P., C.A.R.E. President, and Lunch sponsored by Access Development, All Points Accommodations, Eagle Crest Resort, and Perennial Vacation Club.
Attendees can also participate in the Historic Ybor City Walking Tour from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and the Evening in Historic Ybor City at the Columbia Restaurant from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
