The new villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World Resort will go on sale to Disney Vacation Club® members on March 3 and to the general public on March 31.
The expansion of the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa includes 200 proposed resort studios. These are a Disney Vacation Club lodging type exclusive to this resort.
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have long been a favourite home away from home for Disney Vacation Club members because of its Victorian charm and elegance. The resort’s access to the monorail is also popular.
The proposed new resort studio accommodations will open in late June 2022. They tower regally in 1890s Victorian glory on Seven Seas Lagoon. The property is a picturesque stroll away from Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World Resort’s centre.
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa also provide exquisite and recently improved deluxe studios, one- and two-bedroom villas, and spacious three-bedroom grand villas.
The beachfront position provides easy access to Walt Disney World Resort’s attractions through monorail, motorcoach, and water taxi services. In addition, guests walking to and from Magic Kingdom Park can use the new pedestrian promenade.
Guests enjoy superb eating options as well as a wide range of entertainment and leisure activities in this idyllic environment. Capping off another glorious day, guests can see fireworks bursting above Cinderella Castle from the resort.
“Disney Vacation Club is pleased to offer a diverse inventory of accommodations at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – a spectacular location cherished by our members and their families,” said Bill Diercksen, senior vice president and general manager, Disney Vacation Club and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii. “To add to the magic, this enhancement comes at a very special time, during the 50th Anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World Resort.”
