Following a $50 million renovation, Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. (HGV) has celebrated the grand opening of The Quin, a Hilton Club, its flagship New York City property. The Quin exemplifies modern opulence with 212 large suites, thoughtfully designed amenities, and breathtaking views of Central Park from its commanding location on “Billionaire’s Row,” at the corner of Sixth Avenue and 57th Street.
“As the first major brand to open a timeshare property in Manhattan nearly two decades ago, HGV has continued to redefine vacation ownership in the world’s most sought-after city,” said Mark Wang, president and CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations. “We are thrilled to debut this extraordinary new property as the city celebrates the return to tourism. The Quin’s transformation, combined with our anticipated grand opening celebration for The Central at 5th, a Hilton Club, also in midtown, demonstrates our commitment to New York.”
The grand opening comes as HGV enjoys industry-leading occupancy rates across its New York City portfolio. Officials anticipate more than 56 million tourists visiting the city this year.
The upscale resort now has 212 studios, one- and two-bedroom large suites, a private owners’ lounge, fitness facility, and restaurant after the $50 million restorations.
In addition, magnificent penthouse suites with outdoor terraces overlooking Central Park are available on the newly extended 18th and 19th levels.
The resort, which is only steps from Carnegie Hall, features interactive artist salons and a 15-foot video screen to celebrate New York’s diverse culture.
HGV created the urban timeshare concept in New York and currently has one of the city’s most extensive portfolios. In addition, the company recently introduced a new experiential events platform and membership package. The HGV Ultimate Access program will host over 4,000 events this year at HGV properties worldwide.
Exclusive performances featuring famous singers such as Lee Brice, Carly Pearce, Joey Fatone, and Boyz II Men will be held, as well as chef meals, celebrity meet-and-greets, and more.
With the acquisition of Diamond Resorts by HGV in 2021, the vacation ownership industry now has the largest upscale and luxury timeshare operator with the most global destinations. HGV is boosting Diamond’s leisure facilities around the country under a new Hilton Vacation Club brand as the summer tourism season begins. The first properties to be rebranded are in famous vacation spots like Orlando, Scottsdale, Williamsburg, and Sedona.
