By polling more than 1.4 million workers from companies with workforces ranging in size from 50 to more than 10,000,
Companies were rated and scored under the following criteria to determine the top 100 for the Newsweek ranking:
- Employee survey responses made up 35 per cent of the initial score;
- 25 per cent came from an analysis of reviews from websites including Comparably, Careerbliss, Glassdoor, Indeed, and Google; and
- Forty per cent came from official corporate interviews and written responses.
To compile the final list of 100 firms and decide their rankings, Newsweek performed additional research on each company on the list and the top runners-up.
