GoTab, a restaurant commerce platform, has announced a new Grand Prize Winner of its Hospitality First Service Awards. This program began in late 2021 and recognizes employees who go above and beyond to give exceptional service.
After recognizing Chris Salazar of Santa Anita Park as the first Grand Prize winner, GoTab is now recognizing Kyra Weinberger of Bier Station in Kansas City, Missouri as the second Grand Prize winner.
Weinberger, a devoted server, has mastered the art of combining exceptional hospitality with technological convenience at the Midwest’s first craft beer tasting bar/bottle shop idea. She will receive a $2,000 cash award and acknowledgment on the GoTab website via a video testimonial, certificate, and premium swag kit as the Grand Prize winner.
Weinberger, a long-time fixture at Bier Station, quickly implemented GoTab and fully utilized the cloud-based solution’s functionality to guarantee that customers had a fantastic time at the craft beer tasting bar. Said Weinberger:
“GoTab allows such an easy transition from bar service to table. I am able to chat with guests and guide them while they are ordering, but also quickly pour and bring them their drinks. If they move within the space – transition from the bar to a full-service table, I can easily make this change on the POS to avoid any confusion or ensure continuity of service.”
In November 2021, GoTab established the Hospitality First Service Awards, intending to recognize employees that embrace innovative technology and provide an exceptional eating experience.
Every week in February, March, and April, the second round of Hospitality First Service Awards honored servers at GoTab-operated venues, awarding cash prizes and gift kits to employees nominated by their coworkers, clients, or supervisors. The Grand Prize winner was chosen from among the recognized servers in the program.
Starting on May 16, 2022, nominations for the next GoTab Hospitality Service Awards will begin.
