The keynote speakers for the 69th CARE Conference, which will be held at the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from April 5 to 8, 2022, have been announced.
The Board of Directors is pleased that the CARE conference footprint has been adjusted to a weekday format (Tuesday – Thursday) to satisfy the demands of organisation members and representatives from the resort industry.
“Over the years, many industry colleagues have expressed they would prefer to attend a (work) conference during the week rather than over the weekend, so we decided to try something different with our event this year,” said President Linda Mayhugh. “Our hope is that this change will encourage more attendees, both previous and first-timers, to join us during the workweek.”
Resort Developers, Management and Exchange Companies, HOAs, Travel Clubs, Wholesalers, and Inventory Suppliers are among the CARE conference’s various participants. Training opportunities given at the conference have been selected with those diverse attendees in mind.
Avish Parashar, an author, lecturer, and humorist, will kick off the conference with his keynote, “Ding Happens! How to Improvise, Adapt, and Innovate in an Ever-Changing World!”
Parashar will weave together amusing stories, witty remarks, and interactive exercises from improvisational comedy to keep conference participants laughing, learning, and motivated.
Jason Gamel, ARDA President and CEO, will deliver the keynote “The Timeshare Industry – Past, Present, and Future” on Thursday, taking conference participants on a trip through his 24-year career as a practising attorney to his current position at ARDA. Gamel will discuss his personal, professional, and real-life accomplishments and setbacks, as well as ARDA’s objectives for the holiday sector over the next 18-24 months.
Philadelphia, dubbed ‘The City of Brotherly Love,’ is home to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the ‘Rocky Statue,’ and serves as the ideal setting for CARE’s famous networking opportunities.
Attendees will have many opportunities to strengthen existing business partnerships and form new collaborations throughout the conference. As conference sponsors are recognised, attendees will dine and dance on board The Spirit of Philadelphia dinner cruise while taking in the breathtaking vistas of Philadelphia’s Historic Waterfront.
On the final day of the conference, delegates will have a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable local experience aboard a London-style double-decker bus, which will provide a unique and uninterrupted view of Philadelphia. Because it would be a sin to visit Philadelphia without trying a cheesesteak sandwich, the conference will conclude with a casual real cheesesteak dinner at Philly’s Gourmet Steaks.
Celebrating 36 years of promoting ethical and quality vacation services. CARE is delighted to continue to offer affordable conference rates that include meals and activities. On March 18, 2022, CARE’s room block in The Philadelphia Historic District Downtown will expire. Contact Bonnie Kosco at 800-636-5646 ext. 0 for more information.
